Report: Disability, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault

Why not read the ONS’s dataset on domestic abuse and sexual assault outcomes for disabled people in England and Wales aged 16-59 years.

This dataset, released in February 2021, details how the rates of domestic abuse and sexual assault are higher for disabled than non-disabled people. 

We need to create a safe environment for disabled people.

It is really important that disabled people are educated to know what is happening to them, how to understand when something isn’t right, and how to report it.

Ignoring these issues, brushing these difficult conversations under the carpet, is not an option.
